Alice

"It is a great time right now to be a data scientist. Mashable calls it the hottest profession of 2015 and McKinsey predicts that there will be a shortage of almost 200,000 people with deep analytical skills in the U.S. by 2018. So come join us!"

“I’ve never liked the term ‘Big Data’. It’s just a buzz word that generates excitement because people have heard the term before. Data doesn’t do anything for anyone unless we have the ability to effectively analyze and interpret it. Taking a class with Best Fit will allow you to turn data into a valuable resource.”

"I’m really excited to share the world of data science with others. It can seem intimidating with all of the buzz words and jargon floating around but it is really accessible with the right knowledge and tools."

About Us

We've come together to provide a unique and worthwhile data science experience

How Best Fit Got Started

After starting as a data scientist at one of Chicago's largest digital companies, Alice began to receive questions from her peers about how they could learn more advanced analytical techniques. She began to hold classes for her colleagues and the sessions were a big hit in the office. Soon, Alice noticed that the questions about analytics weren't limited to just her office, but others had an interest in learning more as well. That's when Alice decided that there was a market for her knowledge and decided to start Best Fit Analytics Workshop with two of her grad school classmates.
